Position Summary

OSMC is seeking a seasoned Circulating OR RN with strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a goal-driven mindset. Our OR nurses prepare surgical set-ups, manage equipment, assist surgeons during procedures, and ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare surgical set-ups, equipment, and materials; assist surgeons during procedures.
2. Set up, operate, and monitor surgical systems, equipment, and instrumentation.
3. Assist with patient transport, positioning, and pre-operative preparation.
4. Review and verify patient identity, information, and EMR documentation.
5. Maintain supply and medication inventory with accurate documentation.
6. Carry out physician orders, including medication administration.
7. Document nursing care and notes in the EMR.
8. Maintain aseptic technique and ensure a safe, functional operating environment.
9. Monitor overall patient care and report unusual findings to leadership.
10. Provide support in the Pre-Op area as needed.
11. Stay current through continuing education, certifications, and professional development.
12. Attend required meetings.
13. Maintain patient confidentiality.
14. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Supervision & Team Structure

This position works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and ASC Director, collaborating with OR staff to deliver friendly, caring, and professional nursing care throughout the perioperative process.

Required Credentials

• Current Indiana RN License
• PALS, BLS, and ACLScertifications
