H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations and businesses across North America. H2Ois currently seeking a Beautification Laborerto join our team in Pascagoula, MS. The successful candidate will perform a variety of manual labor duties related to the maintenance, upkeep and beautification of city owned properties, parks, right-of-ways, medians, drainage areas and other public spaces. Work includes landscaping, grounds maintentance, litter removal, trimming, cleaning and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintains and beautifies medians, rights-of-way, public grounds and other designated areas.
- Performs mowing, edging, weed-eating, trimming, pruning and general landscaping duties.
- Removes litter, debris, leaves, branches and other refuse from public areas.
- Operates hand tools, power tools and grounds-maintenance equipment safely and properly.
- Performs general clean up and maintenance of city facilities and outdoor areas.
- Assists with seasonal beautification projects, special events and community improvment projects.
- Assists other Public Works crews with general labor duties when needed.
- Maintains work ares in a clean and safe condition.
- Follows all city safety policies, procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
- Reports damaged equipment, hazardous conditions, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
The Skills We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivelant preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work for extended periods.
- Ability to operate hand tools and basic power equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a crew.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull and lift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
