TRC Talent Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver for a leading technology-focused client in Norcross, GA. This position is responsible for operating a company van or box truck to complete local deliveries and pickups while providing excellent customer service and maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Position: Box Truck Driver
Location: Norcross, GA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18-19/hr (based on experience)
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform local deliveries and pickups within a 5080-mile radius.
Accommodate urgent, last-minute, and unscheduled delivery requests as needed.
Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance, mileage, and time records.
Provide outstanding customer service during all deliveries and interactions.
Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
Assist with loading, unloading, and verifying incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy.
Communicate customer concerns, inventory discrepancies, and delivery issues to management.
Utilize Oracle, Ship Console, and other shipping systems to process deliveries and documentation.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks, when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months of delivery driving or related experience.
Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods (6+ hours daily).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
