Are you a friendly, customerfocused individual who enjoys helping people solve problems and complete projects? We’re looking for a parttime Sales Associate to join our hardware store team. This position typically includes 2–3 weekdays and every other Saturday. In this role, you’ll provide excellent service, keep the sales floor running smoothly, and help customers find the tools and products they need.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and assist them in finding merchandise, answering questions, and offering helpful product suggestions.
- Provide knowledgeable support both instore and over the phone, including helping with special orders when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor through regular housekeeping and merchandising tasks.
- Restock shelves, follow planograms, and ensure signage is accurate and easy to read.
- Face and front products throughout the day to keep displays neat and customerready.
- Assist customers with loading products into their vehicles when needed.
- Take part in regular inventory counts to help maintain accurate stock levels.
- Cut keys for customers and learn additional store services as you grow in the role.
- Support team members with a variety of tasks to keep the store running efficiently.
What We’re Looking For

- Strong communication skills and the ability to learn product knowledge across all departments.
- Organized, selfmotivated, and able to think independently to solve problems.
- Basic understanding of sales techniques and willingness to grow those skills.
- Ability to use pointofsale systems for price lookup, special orders, and order entry.
- Solid math, reading, and writing abilities.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- 2-3 weekdays, 2-3 Saturdays per month
