Food Service Director

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Director to lead the Dietary Department at our skilled nursing facility.

Prior experience as a Food Service Director in a nursing home/SNF is required.

The ideal candidate will be a strong, hands-on leader with experience in:

• Managing, motivating, and developing dietary staff

• Staffing, scheduling, and controlling overtime

• Food purchasing, inventory, and budget management

• Maintaining a clean, organized, survey-ready kitchen

• DOH/CMS regulations and food safety standards

• Ensuring high-quality meals with a strong focus on resident happiness and satisfaction with food and dining services.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their department, understands both operations and budgets, and takes pride in providing residents with a positive dining experience.
