SUMMARY:Picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform quality inspection tasks on all received materials and products such as:
- Reviewing PO and Item Numbers to ensure accuracy
- Checking for damages or defects by manually inspecting merchandise
- Reviewing package slips to ensure accuracy
- Initiate claims processes for any damaged or defected items
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Collect and processes merchandise returned to the corporate center to be delivered to the Returns Department
- Perform required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One to two years related experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
- Forklift certified.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
