A client of ours is hiring Utility Laborers for their Rochester, PA operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. A Utility Laborer will assist the crew in completing the project safely, on time, and meeting the customer specifications for quality.
Must Haves:
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
- Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must have the ability to work extended hours when needed
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing) they operate at a federal level (our drug test and their drug test) they test for everything NO medical card.
- Comfortable with occasional travel

- Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
- Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment
- Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and in the operation of power tools
- Learning career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment. (on-the-job training will be provided in in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance).
- Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects)
Compensation: $18-$23
