POWDER HANDLER

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Powder Handler to join our team at 3330 Palmer, Janesville, WI. As a Powder Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of powders and other materials used in our production process. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all materials are properly stored, labeled, and transported to the appropriate areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be critical to the success of our operations.

1st Shift: 6:25am-2:30pm Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management systems
• Must be able to pass medical evaluation in order to meet the requirements of wearing a respirator during blending functions
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen required

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming powders and materials
• Ensure that all powders and materials are properly labeled and stored
• Transport powders and materials to the appropriate areas using forklifts and other equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all powders and materials received and transported
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills:

As a Powder Handler, you will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all powders and materials are properly labeled, stored, and transported. You will also use your experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently move materials throughout our facility.
