Nurse LPN RN

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within long-term care settings. Working independently with occasional oversight, the LPN ensures the well-being of patients through diligent monitoring, medication administration, and effective communication with healthcare teams and patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care consistent with long-term care protocols
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
• Educate patients on health management and care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• Experience in patient care and vital signs monitoring
• Proficiency in medication administration
• Knowledge of wound care practices
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail in all aspects of patient care
