QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer License
• Proven experience in road, bridge, and drainage design and construction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets, and technical software
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Knowledge of surveying and construction materials testing

PAY: $72,277–$78,626 per year, with opportunities to grow up to $104,023 through regular increases

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT ENGINEER

In this full-time role, you'll guide public infrastructure projects from initial planning through successful completion. Your day may involve supervising contractors on active job sites, reviewing plans and specifications, developing project scopes and cost estimates, conducting surveys, updating infrastructure databases, and engaging with residents to address concerns. You'll balance design work, field inspections, quality assurance, and contract administration, while also helping prepare for and respond to flood events.
