Professional Services Manager

ThinkTech is a Managed IT Services Provider helping businesses operate securely and efficiently through technology.

We're looking for a Manager of Professional Services to lead our project engineering team.

In this role, you'll develop project engineers, coordinate resources, and partner with sales and service leaders to keep client projects moving forward. We're looking for someone who understands technology projects and enjoys helping both people and projects succeed.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project engineers
• Oversee the delivery of infrastructure, networking, migration, and systems projects for ThinkTech clients
• Monitor project scope, schedules, resource allocation, and overall delivery performance
• Remove roadblocks and coordinate across teams to keep projects moving forward
• Partner with account managers and service leaders to support project planning, expectations, and execution
• Help resolve project challenges while maintaining a positive experience for clients and team members
• Review project performance and identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and consistency

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading technical teams in a project-based environment
• Experience managing project timelines, resources, budgets, or delivery performance
• The ability to lead and support technical teams while maintaining focus on project outcomes, priorities, and execution
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A solid understanding of technology projects and the challenges involved in delivering them successfully

Helpful Experience

• Managed services (MSP) experience
• Professional services or project delivery leadership
• Infrastructure, networking, virtualization, migration, and/or systems deployment projects
• Experience partnering with sales teams on project scope, timelines, and expectations
• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management training

Work Environment

• Based in Raleigh or Greensboro with occasional travel between office locations

Compensation

• Base salary: $65,000 to $85,000
• Eligible for profit sharing
