Material Handler
Location: Largo, FL
Pay: $16.00-$18.00hr DOE
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our manufacturing team by moving, staging, mixing, labeling, and supplying materials throughout the facility while maintaining a safe and organized production environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred; training available
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Basic computer and handheld scanner skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production standards
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Move, stage, and supply raw materials, components, and finished products
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Measure, weigh, mix, and replenish materials according to production requirements
- Monitor material levels and perform inventory counts
- Verify material labels, quantities, and locations
- Clean and maintain hoppers, blenders, grinders, dryers, and filters using hand tools and required PPE
- Complete work orders, material tags, and inventory documentation
- Maintain clean, organized production areas and clear aisles
- Communicate material and production information between shifts
- Follow all safety, quality, production, and housekeeping procedures
