Responsibilities
- Independently manage implanted cardiac rhythm management devices in an outpatient clinic, including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and implanted loop recorders
- Perform device interrogations, programming changes, and troubleshooting within established protocols
- Document assessments, device data, and patient care in the EPIC electronic medical record with accuracy
- Collaborate with EP team and cardiology specialists to assess rhythm status, device function, and patient safety
- Educate patients on device care, activity restrictions, and follow-up steps; coordinate referrals as needed
- Maintain knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and device technology to support ongoing patient care
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont
- BLS certification
- Pacemaker/ICD technician program or equivalent job experience
- EPIC experience within the last 2 years
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology
- Ability to work in an outpatient clinic with adult patients (18+) on Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30
- Reliable transportation required; public transit is not available in the area
