Material Handler

Location: South Orlando, FL

Pay: $18-$21/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday

• 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or
• 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Some flexibility available

We are hiring a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join a clean, well-organized specialty metals warehouse in South Orlando.

This is a great opportunity for someone with forklift experience who enjoys hands-on warehouse work and is willing to learn different areas of the operation. We're looking for someone who shows up consistently, has a positive attitude, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working as part of a small team.

• Operate material-handling equipment to safely move metal products throughout the warehouse
• Move materials to designated processing and staging areas
• Wrap and prepare metal products for storage or their next stage of processing
• Transport completed material back into the warehouse or to another area of the facility
• Work in multiple departments depending on daily production needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Learn new processes and assist the team wherever needed

• Previous forklift experience
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work safely in an industrial warehouse environment
• Flexibility to work in different areas throughout the day

• Side-loader experience
• Previous experience in the metals industry
• Experience handling metal products such as tubing, pipe, bar, sheet, or plate

You'll be working in a very clean, well-maintained warehouse with a small team of approximately eight employees. The facility is not climate controlled, but it has strong ventilation and large industrial fans throughout the warehouse.

$18-$21/hour, depending on relevant experience. Candidates who can clearly explain their forklift, material-handling, side-loader, or metals experience during the interview may qualify toward the higher end of the range.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
