We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Cook in Racine, WI to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks for children in a safe, caring, and healthy environment according to licensing, Youngstar and CACFP standards. Hours part time Monday through Friday 7am to 1pm.
What You'll Do- Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks adhering to nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen according to state licensing health and safety standards.
- Order food supplies and manage inventory within the specified budget.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience cooking in a commercial kitchen, school, or childcare setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check required for childcare workers in Wisconsin.
Nice To Haves- Active ServSafe or Food Manager Certification.
- Familiarity with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guideline
