Transporter - Radiology

Responsibilities:

Insures the comfort of the patient and maintains patient privacy while transportingTransports safely using wheelchairs and stretchersChecks two forms of patient identification prior to transportingCompletes an In-Patient transport within 20 minutes - Leave to Return and communicates delays back to departmentTransports any other required items; documents, equipment, specimens etc. to proper department.Stocks linen and fluid in warming cabinets, documents temperature and labels solutions for expiration.Assists radiology staff in all areas of perioperative servicesAssists in informing patient family/friends of patient's disposition.

Requirements:

High school or equivalent

Healthcare experience preferred.
