Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

· Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, field repairs, and major equipment overhauls, including filters, bearing and component replacements

· Use hand tools, power tools, and sandblasters to dismantle broken equipment and clean grease, rust, or debris from pump interiors and exteriors

· Inspect machinery using precision tools like dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers to check wear and tolerances

· Communicate effectively with customers and shop personnel proper protocols needed to maintain customer equipment for preventative maintenance plans

· Work as a team with coordinators and other field service technicians to troubleshoot equipment

Qualifications of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

· Experience working with rotating equipment, HVAC, or other industrial equipment

· Ability to travel to customer sites

· Effective communication

· Background check, physical, and drug test required

· Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Able to lift 50lbs

Working Conditions: Field Service

Training/Certifications: Forklift certification preferred

Shift Time/Overtime: M-F 7:30 - 4:30

Travel: Some travel required, mostly Southern Louisiana

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
