Accountant IV – Full-Time | Coos Bay, OR
Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 (Union position; based on years of experience, non-negotiable)
Schedule: Day Shift | 80 hours per two-week pay period

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee financial records to ensure accurate reporting
- Record financial transactions and verify proper ledger entries
- Reconcile subsidiary accounts to the general ledger
- Ensure integrity of financial data within hospital systems
- Perform monthly close processes and financial reporting
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit requests
- Collaborate effectively with auditors and cross-functional teams
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working within accounting systems
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Reliable attendance and professionalism
Education & Certifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
(Associate’s degree + 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree) - Preferred: Advanced degree or CPA certification
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting strongly preferred
