As a Busser, you help create a clean, welcoming environment that supports both guests and team members.

Position Summary

The Busser supports restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, assisting servers, and ensuring guests have a positive and efficient dining experience. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of service in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment.

This is a non-exempt position that works closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Essential Functions

As a Busser, you will:

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain dining room flow
• Assist servers and bartenders by delivering food, beverages, and service items as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including floors, tables, and service areas
• Refill beverages such as water and assist with guest needs when appropriate
• Stock service stations with supplies, including utensils, napkins, and condiments
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent guest service
• Adapt to varying responsibilities during shifts based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and service-oriented
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

Pay Range: $10.00 per hour – $13.00 per hour

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds
• Bend, reach, stoop, and move frequently
• Perform repetitive motions, including lifting and clearing tables
• Work in a fast-paced, high-traffic restaurant environment

Work Environment

This role operates in a full-service restaurant environment with exposure to high guest volume, food service areas, and fast-paced operations. Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
