Housekeeper

Seaside Health System is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in cleanliness, infection prevention, and supporting a positive patient experience within a behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, nursing stations, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas

• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times

• Remove trash, biohazard materials, and soiled linens appropriately

• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas daily

• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with patients and staff

• Support a calm, respectful, and therapeutic environment

• Follow all hospital policies, OSHA guidelines, and sanitation standards

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred

• Healthcare or behavioral health experience is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Schedule

• Full-Time and PRN opportunities available

• Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be required
