Manufacturing Supervisor – 3rdShift

Location: Pittsfield, MA
Shift:3rd Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:45 PM–7:30 PM (occasional extended hours may be required)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Pay Range: $62,000 - $72,000

Details:

We areseeking an experienced and motivated 3rdShift Plastic Injection Molding Supervisorto lead our Production team. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while supporting employee development, process improvement, and overall operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with manufacturing experience who can effectively manage production activities, coach team members, solve problems, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise production employees to achieve daily production goals, quality standards, and safety objectives.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor work activities to maximize productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across shifts and departments.
  • Partner with Quality, Processing, Material Handling, Shipping, Maintenance, Engineering, and other teams to resolve production issues and improve workflow.
  • Train, mentor, and develop employees to improve performance, engagement, and technical skills.
  • Monitor production schedules, equipment downtime, scrap rates, and operational performance, implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and communicate process improvements to management and engineering teams.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Review employee attendance, timekeeping, and payroll-related information for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, work instructions, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, shift documentation, and operational records
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of lead or supervisorexperience in manufacturing environment
  • Machine operation experience
