About the Role
Picture your day starting at 6:00 am in a busy fabrication shop where both wood and metal projects move from concept to completion. You’ll measure twice (every time), cut once, and shift smoothly from one task to the nextwhether that’s roughing out a frame, finessing a finish detail, or prepping pieces for cabinet installations. This is hands-on, physical work that includes frequent heavy lifting and steady problem-solving.
What You’ll Do
- Use a tape measure accurately to lay out and verify dimensions
- Work across a variety of wood and metal shop tasks throughout the day
- Perform both finish and rough carpentry in a production setting
- Assist with shop-based cabinet build and installation prep
- Handle and move materials and finished pieces; heavy lifting required
Schedule & Employment
- Full-time, evaluation-to-hire opportunity
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Pay: $17.00 per hour
What You Bring
- Proficiency in woodworking
- Confidence reading and using a tape measure
- Experience with finish and rough carpentry
- Background in cabinet installation or shop preparation for installs
- Comfort with physically demanding work and rotating duties
