Location: Bellefonte, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | Flexible Start Time
Pay: $18–$22/hour, depending on experience

We are hiring an Electronics Assembler – Soldering for a specialized manufacturing operation in Bellefonte, PA.

This is not a general warehouse or basic assembly position.

The biggest need on the production floor right now is someone who can perform hands-on soldering and lead attachment on small precision components with accuracy and consistency.

If you have experience soldering wires, leads, terminals, electronic components, sensors, small assemblies, circuit-related components, or other precision parts, this could be an excellent opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

Your primary responsibility will be soldering and lead attachment, including:

  • Solder wires, leads, and terminations onto small precision components
  • Perform lead attachment on small ceramic and electronic assemblies
  • Work carefully with small parts requiring excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Complete precision assembly work using established work instructions and procedures
  • Use molds, fixtures, and assembly tooling
  • Assist with potting, epoxy, or encapsulation processes
  • Inspect your own solder joints and completed assemblies for quality
  • Identify defects or work that does not meet specifications
  • Complete basic production paperwork and documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Support additional production and assembly operations as needed
  • Work with production, quality, and engineering personnel when issues arise

The Experience We're Looking For

Hands-on soldering experience is important for this opening.

We're especially interested in candidates who have personally performed:

  • Fine or precision soldering
  • Wire or lead attachment
  • Soldering of small electronic components
  • Point-to-point soldering
  • Electronics assembly
  • Small-component assembly
  • Precision bench assembly
  • Cable or wire assembly involving soldered connections
  • Sensor or transducer assembly
  • Medical-device or defense electronics assembly

You should be comfortable explaining:

  • What you soldered
  • How small the parts/components were
  • Whether you soldered wires or leads
  • What tools/equipment you used
  • How recently you performed hands-on soldering

We are specifically looking for someone who has actual soldering experiencenot simply general production or mechanical assembly experience.
