CMM PROGRAMMER / QUALITY INSPECTOR
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create CMM inspection routines to verify product conformance
- Extremely proficient in CMM programming utilizing PC-Dmis software
- Able to program on-line & off-line
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T and how it is applied when creating CMM programs
- 5+ years experience in CMM inspection (preferably aerospace)
- Able to perform AS9102 first article inspection to verify part conformance
- Able to understand and interpret customer drawings and specifications
- Experience w/ DCC automated CMM's (Brown & Sharpe Global)
- Advanced knowledge of MBD software and utilizing CAD models for CMM inspection (Catia V5, Enovia, PC-Dmis)
- Experience using portable CMM (Romer Arm with RSX laser scanner utilizing PC-Dmis software)
- Able to generate non-conformance reports based on inspection results
- Able to interpret CMM inspection reports and communicate findings effectively
- Well versed in quality inspection and use of hand tools (calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc...)
- Strong attention to detail
- File management and organizational skills required
- 5+ years experience in aerospace machine shop required
- Must be able to perform in a team setting
- Self motivated and strong work ethic
