Job Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II with an Industrial Engineering background to support manufacturing operations, improve processes, conduct time studies, and increase efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing & distribution operations.
- Conduct time studies and work measurement for incentive pay systems such as CIPP.
- Improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and processes.
- Support quality improvement and efficiency initiatives.
- Provide shop floor troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Participate in preventive maintenance and facilities activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and process procedures.
- Analyze data and prepare reports using Microsoft Office.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors.
- Spend approximately 60% of the day on your feet.
- Work flexible hours as required to support operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred.
- Recent graduates with relevant internships/academic experience may be considered.
- Experience with manufacturing, distribution, tooling, quality, or facilities.
- Experience with time studies, work measurement, or incentive pay systems.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Physical / Work Requirements
- Onsite shop-floor position.
- Must be comfortable standing/walking for approximately 60% of the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Metatarsal safety boots required on the first day.
- Business casual dress code.
- Onsite interview preferred; Teams interview available for non-local candidates.
