Commercial Electrical Material Handler

Job Summary

Veracity Electric is looking for a Commercial Electrical Material Handler to assist with sorting, organizing, identifying, and palletizing electrical materials.

We need someone with commercial electrical experience who can recognize electrical materials and components without extensive training. You will go through existing material, determine what it is, organize it appropriately, and prepare it for storage, inventory, or transportation.

This is not a general warehouse position. Commercial electrical knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize commercial electrical materials and equipment
• Identify electrical materials, components, fittings, and supplies
• Separate materials by type, size, and application
• Organize conduit, fittings, boxes, wire, cable, breakers, panels, hardware, and related materials
• Properly palletize and label materials
• Consolidate loose and miscellaneous electrical material
• Identify damaged, excess, or reusable materials
• Assist with material counts and inventory
• Stage materials for storage or transportation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Safely move and handle electrical materials

Requirements

• Commercial electrical experience required
• Must be able to recognize common commercial electrical materials
• Electrical apprentice, journeyman, electrical warehouse, or commercial construction experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to perform physical/material-handling work throughout the day
• Forklift experience is a plus

Ideal Candidate

You may be a good fit if you have worked in the commercial electrical trade and can walk into a material storage area and recognize what you are looking at.

The goal is simple: take electrical material that needs organization and leave it properly identified, sorted, labeled, and palletized.

Schedule

Project-based / temporary assignment.

Immediate availability preferred.
