Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Call Center Associate to manage both inbound and outbound member communications. This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, providing accurate information, documenting interactions, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Successful candidates will be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to members regarding important account and plan-related updates
  • Answer inbound inquiries and provide timely, professional assistance to resolve member questions and concerns
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records within internal systems
  • Utilize call center software to track activities, update statuses, and ensure accurate reporting
  • Protect confidential member information by following HIPAA guidelines and company policies
  • Research and resolve member issues while providing clear and knowledgeable support
  • Process referrals, service requests, and follow-up tasks to ensure completion and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain adherence to attendance expectations, schedules, and productivity standards
  • Assist with special projects and additional administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or call center position.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
  • Experience documenting customer interactions and working within computer-based systems
  • Comfortable navigating multiple applications and managing detailed information
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations or experience working with confidential information is a plus
