Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated hands-on manufacturing experience, including machining, woodworking, metal fabrication, or trades/internships, with an openness to entry-level candidates.
Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and assembly layouts.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems for BOM management and revision tracking.
Basic understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFA) principles and the ability to efficiently handle custom design modifications.
Experience with manufacturing processes such as metalworking, woodworking, coating, and assembly techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and a deep appreciation for high-end craftsmanship.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical liaison across manufacturing departments including assembly, woodworking, machining, and metal fabrication to troubleshoot production challenges and ensure safety compliance.
Collaborate with design and NPI teams to facilitate smooth transition from prototype to production, refining assembly sequences and tooling requirements.
Create and maintain 3D models, detailed drawings, and assembly layouts using SolidWorks, ensuring alignment with manufacturing needs.
Develop and update Bills of Materials, routings, and standard operating procedures within the ERP system, and manage Engineering Change Orders.
Design, prototype, and fabricate custom jigs, fixtures, and shop tooling to improve process safety, ergonomics, and repeatability.
