Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on manufacturing experience, including machining, woodworking, metal fabrication, or trades/internships, with an openness to entry-level candidates.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and assembly layouts.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems for BOM management and revision tracking.
  • Basic understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFA) principles and the ability to efficiently handle custom design modifications.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as metalworking, woodworking, coating, and assembly techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and a deep appreciation for high-end craftsmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical liaison across manufacturing departments including assembly, woodworking, machining, and metal fabrication to troubleshoot production challenges and ensure safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with design and NPI teams to facilitate smooth transition from prototype to production, refining assembly sequences and tooling requirements.
  • Create and maintain 3D models, detailed drawings, and assembly layouts using SolidWorks, ensuring alignment with manufacturing needs.
  • Develop and update Bills of Materials, routings, and standard operating procedures within the ERP system, and manage Engineering Change Orders.
  • Design, prototype, and fabricate custom jigs, fixtures, and shop tooling to improve process safety, ergonomics, and repeatability.
