Job Description
A well-established manufacturer in Elizabethtown, KY is looking for dependableProduction Associatesto join its team.This is a hands-on, physically demanding manufacturing position working with heavy railcar components.If you enjoy staying active, working with your hands, and being part of a production team, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and inspect railcar roller bearings and related components
- Identify worn or faulty components that need to be repaired or replaced
- Reassemble bearings and prepare finished components for shipment
- Use hand tools and production equipment to complete daily tasks
- Work with smaller units of measurement while inspecting and assembling components
- Handle heavy parts throughout the shift
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production area
- Work as part of a team to meet daily quality and production goals
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, industrial, or general labor experience is preferred
- Comfortable performing physical, repetitive work for 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work in a dirty, industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Experience using hand tools or operating manufacturing equipment is preferred
- Dependable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
- Steel-toed shoes are required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including a drug and background check

The base salary range for this position is $21/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
