Job Description
Lone Star Staffing is hiring hard-working Cooler Loaders to join our cold-storage distribution team. In this physically active role, you will be responsible for manually loading chilled products and completed pallets onto refrigerated trucks in a cold warehouse environment, ensuring safe and timely outbound deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Manually load outbound freight, pallets, and refrigerated goods onto delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Verify shipment quantities, order labels, and trailer destinations prior to loading
- Organize items inside trailers to maximize space and ensure proper weight distribution
- Safely operate manual or electric pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the cooler
- Maintain temperature controls by ensuring cold-chain policies and loading dock doors are secured
- Keep dock and cooler loading areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
Schedule:
- 3rd Shift: Overnight hours (Weekend availability may be required)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in cold storage, warehouse loading, or material handling preferred
- Ability to work comfortably in cold temperatures (35°ree;F to below freezing)
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for the full shift
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
