Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production press equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Load materials and components into presses and safely remove completed parts.
- Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, defects, and overall quality.
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain production and quality standards.
- Use measuring tools and gauges to verify parts meet required specifications.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records throughout the shift.
- Follow all established safety procedures, including proper machine guarding and PPE requirements.
- Perform basic equipment checks and communicate mechanical or quality issues to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
