Summary:Biarri Networks is seeking a VP, TelecomEngineeringServicesto lead an 80-90 person globalengineeringorganization spanning the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Philippines, and Vietnam. This role is a backfill for the current VP of Operations, who is transitioning into thePresidentrole. The VP will inherit an established organization and focus on improving operational efficiency, profitability, customer relationships, and organizational scalability while helping drive Biarri's strategic expansion beyond traditional FTTH programs into middle-mile, long-haul, data center connectivity, utility,engineering, and software-based solutions.
Duties of the Role:
- Provide executive leadership for all TelecomEngineeringServicesfunctions including DesignServices, Project Management, Field &Engineering, Consulting, PMO, and Telecom Sales.
- Lead a globally distributed team of approximately 80-90 employees across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Philippines, and Vietnam.
- Manage a leadership team consisting of Operations Managers, PMO leadership, UK leadership, and Sales leadership while developing the next generation of leaders within the organization.
- Drive operational improvements, resource utilization, delivery efficiency, and project profitability across allengineeringservicesfunctions.
- Establish strategic direction for the TelecomEngineeringServicesdivision and translate company objectives into actionable business initiatives.
- Own divisional budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, margin optimization, and headcount planning.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Support commercial growth initiatives including scaling the U.S. telecomengineeringsales organization and identifying opportunities within emerging markets such as middle-mile networks, data centers, utilities, and softwareservices.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to navigate industry changes and position Biarri for continued growth and diversification.
- Ensure quality, consistency, compliance, SOP development, and best practices are maintained across global operations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within telecommunicationsengineering, telecom operations,engineeringconsulting, or project delivery organizations.
- Experience leading large, globally distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.
- Strong telecommunicationsengineeringbackground, ideally with FTTx, FTTH, OSP design, telecom delivery, permitting, drafting, or fiber network deployments.
- Demonstrated success managing managers, directors, and multi-layered leadership teams.
- Experience owning P&L, budgets, forecasting, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Proven ability to improve organizational efficiency, profitability, utilization, and project delivery performance.
- Strong customer-facing experience with executive presence and relationship management capabilities.
- Experience supporting business development, commercial growth, sales strategy, or customer success initiatives.
- Experience leading organizations through growth, change management, and strategic transformation.
- Ability to lead globally distributed teams across various cultures and time zones.
