We are seeking a reliable Restaurant Line Cook to join our kitchen team in preparing classic American cuisine. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts available nights, weekends, and some days. You will work in a high volume environment serving a large dining room, bar, and event spaces, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to standardized recipes
- Set up and stock stations for service
- Monitor inventory and report shortages
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain quality control of dishes
- Follow safety practices to maintain a safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of kitchen line cooking experience
- Willing to train if necessary
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong knife skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Teamwork and clear communication skills
- Adaptable with an open schedule for various shifts
- Experience cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas
