Depot Technician

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Depot Technician position for our client.

Location: Durham, NC
Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension

Schedule: Full-time, onsite position in Durham, NC. Hours may fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with typical shifts of 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Rotational Saturdays and occasional overtime may be required. No travel required.

Duties:

• Diagnose, test, and repair POS/computer hardware, printers, displays, system units, and components.
• Perform bench repair, parts replacement, cleaning, diagnostics, and mechanical testing.
• Document repairs, parts usage, and work activity in computer systems.
• Pick, pack, and ship components and customer orders.
• Maintain quality, productivity, safety, and an organized work area.
• Train new employees and support team operations as needed.

Experience:

• 1+ year of electronics repair or assembly experience required.
• Computer hardware repair experience preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
