Driver on Demand is expanding in the Charlotte market and recruiting Independent Contract Drivers for a new program supporting Honda of Concord, part of the Hendrick Automotive family, beginning October 1.
The initial project is expected to provide consistent driving opportunities for approximately six months, including through the holiday season, with the potential for additional opportunities as Driver on Demand continues to expand throughout the Charlotte market.
If you already earn income through rideshare, delivery or other driving opportunities, this offers something different: get paid by the hour to drive customer vehicles without putting the work miles, fuel costs and everyday wear and tear on your personal vehicle.

6:30 AM–1:00 PM
7:00 AM–1:00 PM
1:00 PM–7:00 PM
Saturday
6:30 AM–12:00 PM
7:00 AM–12:00 PM
12:00 PM–5:00 PM
What to expect

What You'll Do
Drivers will safely move customer vehicles between designated locations on the Honda of Concord property, complete required vehicle photos using the Driver on Demand technology platform, and communicate with the onsite team using a two-way radio.
This is an active driving opportunity. Vehicle movements are generally short, but the services involve frequent walkingoften approximately 300 yards between vehicle locationsrepeatedly entering and exiting vehicles, and outdoor activity throughout the day.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with 5+ years of consistent, clean driving history
- Satisfactory background screening
- Dependable and professional
- Comfortable driving a variety of customer vehicles
- Comfortable with frequent walking, entering and exiting vehicles, and outdoor activity
- Comfortable using smartphone applications and a two-way radio
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Professional appearance appropriate for a customer-facing dealership environment
