We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Simi Valley, CA 93065
A wonderful family in the Simi Valley area are looking for a warm, calm, dependable nanny to provide consistent care for their 4-month-old son. Mom works from home and may occasionally nurse throughout the day, but is looking for someone who is comfortable independently managing the baby’s care and daily routine.
- Schedule: Currently 2 days per week, ideally Mondays and Thursdays, with the potential for additional days/hours as needed.
- Hours: Approximately 6–8 hours per day, as early as 7:30 AM until approximately 3:00 PM. Some scheduling flexibility is important.
- Start date: ASAP
- Length of Position: Long-term, ongoing
- Rate: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
- 1 child: 4-month-old boy
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate infant care
- Manage the baby’s daily routine, including feeding, diapering, naps, and age-appropriate activities
- Assist with child-related light housekeeping, such as bottles and tidying play areas
- Support the baby as his routine and developmental needs evolve
- Communicate with the family daily and support their needs
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 2 or more years of professional childcare experience, specifically infant experience
- CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
- Able to pass required background and social media screenings
- Including driving-related screenings, for emergency purposes only
- Able to provide 2 references from paid, childcare-related experience
- Warm, dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently with a work-from-home parent
- Comfortable around household pets and animals; no pet care is required
- Russian-speaking is a plus, but not required
Compensation
This position pays $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, for approximately 12–16 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours or days depending on the family’s needs.
