Immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate in Torrance, CA who possesses:
- 1+ years of forklift operating experience
- 1+ years of experience using RF scanners
- 1+ years of experience with picking, cycle counting, inventory management, and moving product to and from pallets
- Experience operating stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and/or stackers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
FULL DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support picking, cycle counting, inventory movement, order fulfillment, quality checks, and general warehouse operations. This role is responsible for operating RF scanners, moving products to and from pallets, using warehouse equipment such as stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and stackers, shrink-wrapping orders, and ensuring materials are selected accurately and safely. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse and forklift experience, strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Picking products and materials accurately for orders
- Performing cycle counts and supporting inventory accuracy
- Moving products to and from pallets
- Operating stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and/or stackers
- Using RF scanners to accurately fill orders and manage inventory
- Pulling inventory from racks manually or with handheld devices
- Shrink-wrapping products and material orders prior to loading
- Performing quality checks to identify damaged or incorrect materials
- Replacing damaged materials as needed
- Verifying selected materials are the correct type, quantity, and quality
- Maintaining accurate inventory and order information
- Following health and safety policies while completing warehouse assignments
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Supporting loading, unloading, and material movement as needed
- Performing basic mathematical calculations related to inventory and order fulfillment
- Supporting other warehouse duties as assigned
The selected candidate will also possess:
- 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred
- 1+ years of forklift operating experience required
- Experience operating a stand-up forklift, cherry picker, and/or stacker required
- 1+ years of RF scanner experience required
- Experience with picking and order fulfillment required
- Cycle counting experience required
- Inventory management experience required
- Experience moving products to and from pallets required
- Basic math skills required
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to accurately identify product type, quantity, and quality
- Ability to follow warehouse procedures and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to continuously stand and/or walk for approximately 7 to 8 hours per day
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, squat, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate forklifts, cherry pickers, stackers, pallet-moving equipment, and related warehouse tools
- Ability to use hands and fingers for RF scanner use, inventory handling, shrink-wrapping, picking, and standard warehouse tasks
- Ability to pull products from warehouse racks manually or with handheld devices
- Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive warehouse work for extended periods
- Ability to visually inspect products and materials for damage, quantity, and quality
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow all warehouse, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to maintain accuracy, focus, and attention to detail throughout the shift
Salary Range: $20 to $22/hour
