Key Responsibilities
- Handle and distribute materials from shipping to production and warehouse areas.
- Perform inventory counts and manage supplies throughout the plant.
- Pack wooden and overpack boxes and load customer orders onto trucks for shipment.
- Safely operate industrial lift truck equipment (forklift).
- Pull parts accurately for production and stock parts in warehouse locations.
- Perform shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
- Complete production and quality assurance documentation.
- Follow safety rules, company policies, and quality management system requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of warehouse or distribution experience required.
- 2+ years of forklift experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to read and understand written procedures in English.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Must wear PPE including steel-toe boots, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and climb.
- Frequently lift up to 35 lbs unassisted and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature changes and exposure to fumes or by-products.
- May be assigned additional duties with training provided.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Employment is contingent upon successful drug screening and fitness-for-duty testing.
