Join us in launching and operating an advanced battery module manufacturing and battery pack assembly facility. As the Assembly & Module Production Lead, you will guide hourly manufacturing teams, coordinate cross-functional support, and embed a culture rooted in safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Supervise daily operations for assigned areas and/or shifts, ensuring targets are met.
- Coach production operators and manufacturing technicians; support onboarding, training, and performance development.
- Hold the line on safety, quality, and production standards; champion standardized work and procedures.
- Track and act on KPIs: output, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and related operational metrics.
- Escalate and resolve production, quality, or equipment issues without delay.
- Coordinate constantly with maintenance, quality, warehouse/logistics, engineering, and production planning.
- Safeguard material flow and line readiness to maintain production continuity.
- Implement process improvements and operational changes; participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help shape manufacturing workflows, operational standards, and processes as volumes scale.
- Cultivate teamwork, clear communication, and operational discipline across the production floor.
What you bring
- 3–7 years of manufacturing leadership/supervisory experience leading hourly personnel.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, safety practices, and quality systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Hands-on leader eager to spend significant time on the floor.
- Lean/CI experience preferred; high-volume backgrounds (automotive, battery, electronics, advanced manufacturing) preferred.
- Strong organizational discipline and cross-functional collaboration skills (engineering, operations, quality, logistics, maintenance).
- Excellent communication, coaching, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
