CNC Router and Laser Operator

Mid-size, wide-format digital printing company is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift employee to be part of a small team running multiple wide-format CNC routers and a laser in a professional climate-controlled environment. Typical daily tasks include operating and maintaining CNC and non-CNC equipment, handling raw materials, handling work-in-progress and finished pieces, and coordinating with other departments to ensure all customer expectations are met.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Multicam CNC Routers, ESKO Kongsberg CNC Routers, or Kern Laser HSE systems is preferred.
• Prior experience with similar CNC Routers (Zund, Fotoba, etc.) is a plus.
• Reliable, productive, and able to work continuously in a shop environment.
• Comfortable with and capable of using small and medium power and hand tools such as table saws, drills, screw guns, miter saws, chop saws, routers, hand held saws, utility knives, mallets, etc.
• Able to learn concepts and get up to speed quickly.
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow through on tasks without reminders.
• Able to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and be standing and active all day.
• Someone who values learning and continuous improvement, who wants to make positive contributions to a common effort.
• Previous woodworking or fabrication experience preferred.
