Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Associate Project Manager opening for our client in Melbourne, FL.

Location: Melbourne, FL (hybrid remote)

Duties:

  • Work with customer and other project managers to prioritize requested work and provide timeline for feature delivery.

  • Manage customer relationships and project communications.

  • Participate in reporting status to the customer; communicate and review with customer project team.

  • Coordinate customer testing and support.

  • Work with Delivery Director, Technical Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and System Architect to lead project(s) from inception through implementation.

  • Adhere to SAFe Agile and internal project management processes and procedures.

  • Perform management and business development duties as assigned by Project Manager.

  • Develop, maintain, and ensure project deliverable documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

  • Create, revise, and manage project plans while overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.

  • Review deliverables prepared by the team.

  • Assist with project closure and transition to Operations Team.

  • Assist in putting documentation together for training purposes.

  • Conduct project-related orientations for new employees.

  • Ensure training and development are ongoing.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communications.

  • Ability to mentor and coach a team and lead by example.

  • Experience facilitating meetings, retrospectives, and strategy sessions.

  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with MS Office tools, ADO, Teams, and JIRA.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Experience:

  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile preferred.

  • Experience in project management in software development preferred.

  • Previous experience successfully supporting multiple projects concurrently.

Education:

  • Degree in technology or communications related to software development or related experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
