Overnight Security Guard

Position Summary:

Cirrus Manor, a licensed assisted living community, is seeking a dependable and professional Full-Time Overnight Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of residents, staff, and property during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and dedicated to maintaining a secure and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors facility entrances, exits, and grounds throughout the shift.

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify potential safety or security concerns.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies. Complete detailed incident and security reports as required.

• Greet, identify, and document visitors in accordance with facility policies.

• Support residents and staff during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy.

• Ensure all facility doors and windows are properly secured.

• Communicate effectively with management and law enforcement when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid New York State Security Guard Registration issued by the NYS Department of State.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in healthcare, senior living, or residential security preferred.

• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.

• Must pass a background check and health screening.

Schedule: Full-time overnight position. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $18–$20 per hour, plus benefits
