Summary
The Module Production Packaging Operator works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is
responsible for safely packaging finished solar modules to meet quality, productivity, and operational
standards. This role supports daily production by operating assigned packaging equipment, maintaining
a clean and organized work area, and completing all required documentation. The Packaging Operator
plays an essential role in ensuring that all finished products meet company specifications while following
Hanwha Qcells safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Responsibilities
Operate assigned packaging equipment while maintaining consistent product quality.
Perform accurate defect tracking and production reporting in a timely manner.
Identify and report safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, and maintenance needs to the
Packing Lead.
Complete, verify, and store all required production and quality documents.
Achieve daily production targets (KPIs) and promptly communicate any barriers to performance.
Clean and maintain assigned packaging equipment and report any deficiencies to supervision.
Maintain housekeeping and organization standards within the packaging area.
Adhere to all Hanwha Qcells safety rules, quality standards, and operating procedures.
Support cross-functional teams and assist with departmental needs as required.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
Ability to work effectively and safely in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to remain focused under pressure.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restriction.
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for up to 12 hours per shift
