Field Service Engineer

Description

The Field Service Technician spends most of their time traveling to customer sites throughout the Northeast and across the U.S. to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair Fischer XRF and materials testing equipment. On a typical day, they diagnose electronic and mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, verify instrument performance, train customers on proper operation, and provide technical support both onsite and remotely. This role is highly hands-on, requires independent work in customer environments, and involves frequent travel with overnight stays while ensuring equipment operates reliably and meets regulatory requirements.

This is a Permanent position based out of Windsor, CT.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
