Brief Description

Our client is currently seeking a talented and self-motivated licensed Structural Engineer for their team in Tulsa. • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering

• A Master's in Structural Engineering is preferred

• Licensed engineer in the state of Oklahoma or have the ability to get licensed immediately

• 4-10 years of experience in the analysis and design of building structures

• Design experience with structural steel and concrete (wood, masonry and post-tension concrete are a plus)

• Proficient use of common structural analysis and design software (Bentley RAM software is a plus)

• Analysis and Design of framing system and foundations

• Perform calculations and create/run engineering models in design software

• Safety and compliance with codes

• Shop drawing review & conduct construction site visits

• Coordinate with structural project managers & clients

• Preparation/Coordination of contract documents

• Ability to integrate structural design into contract documents

• Effective communication

• Attention to details

• Active involvement with project coordination

• Basic project management

• Interact positively with clients on project issues

• Demonstrated ability to understand the interaction of project components

• Coordinate with other disciplines

• Responsible engineering judgment

• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability

• Completion of work with accuracy and attention to detail in a timely manner

• Able to work independently, or cooperatively and harmoniously with a team

• Able to prioritize, manage time, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

• Obtain design information from architectural BIM models (Revit)

• Basic Revit drafting

• Emphasize quality and accuracy in their work
