Job Title: Machine Operator / Helper (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Madera, CA

Pay Rate: $21/HR

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

Shifts Available: 1st Shift: 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Position Summary:

The Machine Operator / Helper will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery,

ensuring smooth production, troubleshooting issues, and performing quality checks. This is a

physical, fast-paced role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and feed raw materials into machinery

Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines at the start and end of shifts

Maintain and clean machines before and after shifts

Input machine settings such as speed, shapes, and sizes

Place parts into semi-automated machines

Monitor machine operation during production

Troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed

Complete routine and preventative maintenance tasks

Perform random accuracy and safety checks on machines

Conduct periodic quality inspections to ensure machine output meets standards

Maintain activity logs and report progress or issues to supervisors

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Basic math, writing, and computer skills

Ability to read a tape measure and follow quality procedures

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally

Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching

Standing for long periods (8+ hours)

Repetitive motion tasks

Ability to maintain focus and safety awareness during extended shifts

Must be able to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

Availability for overtime, including weekends

Steel-toe boots

Jeans or work pants

100% cotton shirts (no hanging strings or buttons)
