• Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Part-Time, Overnight Shift
Environmental Services (EVS) / Housekeeper Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable part-time Environmental Services (EVS) / Housekeeper to support overnight hospital operations. This position is responsible for keeping patient care areas clean, sanitary, and ready for patients and clinical staff.
Environmental Services (EVS) / Housekeeper Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and assigned hospital areas
• Assist with room cleaning following patient discharges
• Prepare rooms for incoming patients
• Handle and replace linens
• Maintain and organize cleaning carts and supplies
• Assist nursing staff with room-related needs
• Follow hospital infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Follow all hospital security and badge/access requirements
Environmental Services (EVS) / Housekeeper Basic Requirements:
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable working overnight hours
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push carts, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Must be able to follow hospital safety and infection control procedures
• Must be able to obtain and wear a required hospital badge
Environmental Services (EVS) / Housekeeper Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work independently and alongside hospital staff
Environmental Services (EVS) / Housekeeper Desired Skills:
• Previous housekeeping, EVS, hospital, healthcare, or custodial experience preferred but not required
