equipment and the building.
Hourly wage $30-35/hour
Mon-Fri 7am-330pmKey Responsibilities- Plant Maintenance: Directing daily maintenance activities, including both reactive(emergency repairs) and proactive (preventive maintenance) tasks.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and mentor maintenance staU to ensurehigh-quality, safe, and eUicient repairs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety(e.g., OSHA), environmental regulations and building codes.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing complex mechanical or electricalmalfunctions and coordinating major machine repairs.
- Budget & Spare Parts: Plan and manage the maintenance budget, includingordering parts, tools, and supplies, and optimizing maintenance costs. Keep anorganized inventory of critical spare parts.
- Contractor Oversight: Coordinating external contractors and negotiating contractswith external vendors for building maintenance.
- Reporting & Coordination: Reports to the Plant Manager. Must communicateclearly and coordinate with the production supervisors to schedule repairs onequipment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Relevant technical degree or a degree in Engineering/FacilityManagement.
- Experience: 5+ years in maintenance or engineering, with at least 2–3 years in aleadership or supervisory role. Must be familiar with mixers, extruders and cryogenicgrinding.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of industrial electrical/mechanical systems andfacility maintenance.
- Hard Skills: Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; ability to readblueprints and technical manuals.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills and ability to manage a diverse team andcollaborate with other departments.
