Rude Boy Small Engine Repair LLC is looking for a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team in Simpson, NC! Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines on equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and trimmers
- Perform routine tune-ups, oil changes, carburetor cleaning, and preventive maintenance services
- Inspect and test equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
- Order, source, and replace worn or damaged parts and components
- Communicate repair needs, timelines, and costs clearly with customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Document service records and completed repairs accurately
Requirements:
- Prior experience in small engine repair or a related mechanical field
- Proficiency diagnosing and repairing 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines
- Familiarity with outdoor power equipment brands such as Husqvarna, Briggs & Stratton, Honda, and Stihl
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple repairs efficiently
- Must supply own basic hand tools
