Key Responsibilities
- Lead process development, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introductions from launch through production.
- Create and maintain work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and ECNs.
- Troubleshoot production issues, test failures, and process-related defects.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Sales to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
- Drive Lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and productivity improvements.
- Support ISO compliance, corrective actions, and quality system initiatives.
- Provide technical support for PCB assembly, cable/wire harness assembly, and special projects.
Qualifications
Electrical Engineering degree highly preferred.
Contract Manufacturing experience required.
5+ years of manufacturing, process, or production engineering experience. Experience with PCB assembly, cable/wire harness assembly, or electronic manufacturing preferred.
Strong background in process improvement, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Experience supporting new product introductions and manufacturing process development.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD preferred).
- Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
